Three clubs have coordinated their schedules to put together a very exciting summer of rendezvous! In order to make these three BIG summer rendezvous a real success, a lot of primitive traders and buckskinners are needed. The PPR and CPR will be held at the same site back to back, June 20 - July 6, 2003.
Traders and Buckskinners set up once and can stay in the same location throughout the two rendezvous. Following the PPR and CPR everyone can go straight to the Western, July 12-20, 2003. This schedule allows traders and buckskinners to be set up for 3 full weeks. The PPR and CPR will include a Trader's Row, primitive camp area (including a separate meadow for family oriented camps), a horse camp and a tin tipi area. Some events will include: walk through shooting and hawk and knife throw, fun shoots children's activities and seminars. Plus many more events will be posted daily at the bulletin board. Early set up for buckskinners starting Wednesday, June 18th for the PPR. Be prepared to pay $5.00 per person, per day and put in some extra work for the privilege. We ask that you be in rendezvous mode(period dress) for set up and tear down. At midnight, Saturday, June 28th, the PPR officially ends and the CPR begins. The transition of those tearing down to leave the PPR and those arriving for the CPR will be from sunrise on Saturday June 28th through sunset on June 29th. Although vehicles will be allowed in camp we still ask that you remain in period clothes. We welcome you to join us for an exciting rendezvous season and hope to see you at all three rendezvous. No illegal animal parts, including bear or birds of prey. If you've been at a National Rendezvous before, you know what is correct. The Trade Committee has the final judgment call.
