The Pacific Primitive Rendezvous 2004 Bear Valley, Oregon is
Located 2 miles south of Seneca and 40 miles north of Burns, on
US Hwy. 395 Both of these towns have full facilities, stores gas etc.
There is a small convenience store in Seneca and a tavern. Also a very
small RV park and several campgrounds in the area.
There will be no running water on the site so bring as much drinking water as possible. Water will be provided but you will have to pack it to your camp. We have a lot of prizes to be given away at opening and closing ceremonies and the camp meeting. You must be present to win!! We will give away a beaded capote at the opening ceremonies. At the Wednesday camp meeting we will raffle off a Chief's Grade Trade Gun and Scrimshawed Horn with a Bear Valley Map on it. Raffle tickets will be good for both items. We will draw 25 names to shoot off for the trade gun. We will have 24 prizes for the other shooters. We will give this away at the closing ceremony along with the horn. We will also give away a prize to a full trader and a blanket trader. There will be a round robin on traders row and a pie tasting contest sponsored by Lady Belle. Shooting Events include Rifle Shoot, Novelty Shoot, Pistol Shoot, Trade Gun, Jr Rifle, Squirrel Gun, Shot Gun, Cannon, Silhouette Range, Bow Trail, Hawk and Knife Trail and a Fort Shoot. Kids events, Games each day Monday thru Friday. Also a PeeWee hawk and knife trail and a PeeWee Trail for rifles. Aggregate Event, This event will take the scores from Hawk and Knife, Bow Trail, Trade Gun, Horse Seneca and Trappers Run. We have a short trade gun to be awarded at the Closing ceremony for the winner of this. Horse Events, Parade, Poker Run, Horse Seneca, Horse Races in heats, and a Balloon Pop. Events for Pleasure riders and experienced riders. Enter only the events you are able to do. Each time you enter a Horse event, you will get a ticket to put in a drawing for a primitive Saddle. |
