First step is get to Winchester, Idaho, located about 30 miles southeast of Lewiston Idaho.
From Winchester to the PPR site: From US-95 turn towards town at Cadillac Ranch Junction. Follow signs. Left on Camas Street/Forest Road (signs to Winchester Lake). Past State Park Lake entrance - road turns to gravel here. Past wolf Education Center. Stay on Forest Road at left-hand curve. (5.8 miles) Go right at T (Stevens Road). Road curves to left and becomes Forest Road again - Forest Inn Saloon. (2.2 miles) Go right at T (Soldiers Meadows Road). (1.8 miles) At Y stay to the right (Deer Creek Road). Go 1.8 miles, turn right onto private dirt road. After the turn on left side there will be a mobile home with a roof and a cabin with a red roof. Go 2/10 of a mile, gate on right. Please keep gate closed. Continue on dirt road for approximately 1.5 miles to PPR Registration Gate. |
